Whirlwind
Good condition Whirlwind purchased 4/13/02. Game is not yet setup, and unshopped, so just a few pictures taken before I put it in storage. It will be awhile before I get around to shopping it out.
This particular Whirlwind has the Diamondplate playfield estimated to be found on only 100 or so of the 7300 made. On top of that it has mylar about 3/4 the way up the main playfield so it has been well protected. Cabinet is in excellent overall condition. It also has a different translite than most other Whirlwinds: Most show the boy in the lower right corner with a "W" logo on his hat, mine has a "C" Chicago Cubs logo. The story is that when the game was first produced they screened the translites with the "C" but since they didn't get or receive permission to use it they put a "W" sticker over the top of the earlier runs, and rescreened for the later runs.
