Diner was purchased November 18, 2003. Cabinet has some minor damage and scuffing but overall in good condition. Playfield happens to be one of the rare Diamondplate versions typically found on prototype/sample games. Unfortunately there is some wear on a couple of the inserts that appears to have happened when the inserts raised up slightly over playfield level. Ohterwise the rest of the playfield is very nice and shiny. My plan is to scan a non-worn playfield in those areas and make some custom insert replacements.
Update 4/15/04: I have located a spare used Diamondplate playfield (pictured below) with no insert wear and will eventually be swapping it out with the one in my cabinet.
